The Programme

This Distance Learning Programme can be useful to anyone from any background who is interested in studying the Bible, its origin, covenants, prophecies, Gospels and Epistles.

The modules are clearly and simply written with a particular emphasis on God's purpose and destiny for the Israel peoples.

Other than basic literacy, there are no prerequisites for enrolling on the course.

The Programme Content

The Programme comprises four modules:

  • 1. ORIGIN, CONTENT AND CHRONOLOGY OF THE BIBLE
  • (This is a mandatory unit for all participants in the course)

  • 2. OLD AND NEW TESTAMENT CRITICISM
  • 3. PROPHECY IN OLD AND NEW TESTAMENTS
  • 4. ESTABLISHING THE IDENTITY OF ISRAEL, JEWS AND GENTILES
  • A certificate of achievement is awarded at the completion of each of the four modules.

    Procedure

    Short answer questions based on the studies are incorporated into each unit. Successive units of a module will be forwarded on receipt of responses to the questions set for the previous unit.

    Time Required for Lessons

    Some units, particularly those on Prophecy, require longer study than others, but an average of two hours per unit is anticipated.

    Fees

    A registration fee of £35.00 (GBP) or $55.00 (US) is required for any or all of the modules.

    Text Books

    In some cases suitable books are suggested in the unit material. The essential books for all modules are:

    The Holy Bible

    (The Authorised Version is recommended)

    A Bible Concordance (Strong’s, Young’s or Cruden’s are recommended)

    A Bible Dictionary

    (The New Bible Dictionary – Intervarsity Press, The Zondervan Bible Dictionary, The Illustrated Bible Dictionary are recommended)

    Enrolment

    Enrolment on the course can be at any time and for any or all of the modules.

    Note: because of its foundational nature, Module 1 is mandatory before participating in any of the other modules.
